TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — In case you missed it, Florida Professional Firefighters (FPF), representing more than 32,000 firefighters and emergency medical services personnel across 150+ local affiliates statewide, have endorsed Senator Ashley Moody in her campaign.
The FPF previously endorsed Moody in her successful 2022 campaign for Florida Attorney General. Senator Moody also introduced the HELPER Act to provide mortgage assistance for law enforcement officers, firefighters, first responders, and teachers through the FHA because the heroes who serve our communities deserve to be able to afford to live in them.
Senator Ashley Moody said, “Our firefighters run toward danger so the rest of us can run to safety, and for over 80 years, the Florida Professional Firefighters organization has represented that brotherhood with distinction. To have their trust is a recognition from a family I am proud to be part of. The men and women who risk their lives to protect others are the real heroes in our communities and they deserve a Senator who fights just as hard for them. I am honored to have their support and be their voice in Washington.”
President Wayne ‘Bernie’ Bernoska said, “Senator Ashley Moody has been a steadfast supporter of Florida’s firefighters and paramedics throughout her career in public service. From her time as Florida’s Attorney General to her service in the United States Senate, she has consistently demonstrated a commitment to public safety and to the men and women who answer the call every day. We are proud to endorse her for this role and look forward to continuing our work together on behalf of Florida’s fire rescue and their families.”
