PLANT CITY, Fla. — Senator Ashley Moody declared victory Tuesday night in the Republican primary for U.S. Senate, and quickly defined her opponent as the radical socialist she admits to be.
Senator Ashley Moody said, “Thank you, Florida! It is my privilege to be your nominee and it has been my honor to serve you as your Senator. This November is like none other. My opponent, self-proclaimed socialist Angie Nixon, is campaigning with members of the Socialist Squad and running on an agenda to defund our police, abolish our prisons and military, and raise your taxes. This race will determine Florida’s future – between a free and prosperous Sunshine State and one that turns into bread lines and empty shelves. I’m asking every Floridian to join us in this fight to keep Florida the beacon of hope for freedom and opportunity for generations to come.”
